- Notes
- This tartan was inspired by the designer’s personal bond with Sicily, his birthplace and home, and Scotland, with which he feels a deep cultural affinity. The name was chosen to link Scottish heather and Sicilian zagara. Colours: green is intended to represent the landscapes of both places; dark grey is for Etna’s lava and Scotland’s peat-dark moors; purple is for the heather; yellow represents the broom found in both places; and ivory recalls zagara, Sicily’s citrus blossom.
